How Our Promise Works (Apples-to-Apples)
We want to ensure a fair comparison for everyone. To protect our ability to provide premium service, we look at the complete picture of your purchase.
- The Total Package Principle: We match the total bottom-line price of the project, not individual line items. If a competitor lowers the price of an appliance but charges significantly more for delivery or installation, we compare our combined total against their combined total.
- Net Price Comparison: We compare the "Net Price" of the project. If a competitor offers an instant discount at checkout while we utilize a post-purchase rebate for the same amount, the final value to you is identical. Our goal is to ensure your total out-of-pocket cost, after all eligible savings, is the best value available.
- Identical Items and Services: The product must be the exact same brand, model number, and color. Any associated services must also match identically (e.g., standard installation for standard installation).
- Availability: The item must be brand new, factory-sealed, and actively in stock and available for purchase at the competitor's location or website.
What Is Excluded
To keep our pricing straightforward and sustainable, our promise does not apply to the following:
- Paid Membership Clubs: We do not match retailers that require an annual membership or subscription fee to access their pricing. Our promise is built on pricing available openly to the general public.
- Unbundled Line-Items: We do not allow "cherry-picking" of individual product discounts if the overall project relies on bundled services.
- Special Clearances: Excludes closeouts, liquidations, open-box items, scratch-and-dent merchandise, timed flash sales, or holiday doorbusters.
- Third-Party Marketplaces: Excludes products sold by third-party sellers on digital marketplaces or fulfilled by independent sellers.
How to Request a Price Match
Getting your price verified is simple and transparent. Just follow these steps before or during your purchase:
- Bring Proof: Show your sales representative a digital link, a current printed ad, or an official written quote from a qualifying local competitor.
- We Verify: Our team will quickly look at the competitor's total bundled price (product + necessary delivery/installation services + any instant vs. mail-in rebates) to ensure it is an apples-to-apples match.
- We Adjust: Once confirmed, we will happily match the total project price right on the spot.
